He defeated Olusegun Owaseye Joseph with 40 to 20 votes.<\/p>\n
Declaring the results, the Chairman of the Electoral body, Raymond Nkem Obi assisted by Ariyo Adekunle described the process as transparent, fair and just.<\/p>\n

While handing over the mantle of leadership, former President of the association, Alhaji dowu Adenekan solicited full support for the incoming executive.<\/p>\n
He equally urged members to continue to perform their constitutional duties including prompt payment of annual dues for the overall success of the association.<\/p>\n

In his acceptance speech, the newly elected President, Bello Salami promised to run open an door system and carry everyone along in the delivery of his programmes<\/p>\n
He assured members not to fail them adding they will be left with no other choice than to return his executive after the first two years in office.<\/p>\n

Other elected executive members are; Iyabode Nwokolo as Vice President; Omobola Akinnola, General Secretary; Adewale Atinuke as Assistant General Secretary; Olaniran Mobolaji elected as Financial Secretary while Agnes Imoudu as Treasurer.<\/p>\n
Others are OjatunwasevOluwajoba who is the new Public Relations Officer; Femi Adesanya as Internal Auditor;; and Lawal Kuburat Olawunmi took the position of Social Secretary.<\/p>\n
