excitement as sons and daughters of Odoragbushin converged to celebrate this year&#8217;s Ebi Kilajolu Festival in Odoragbushin in Eredo LCDA, Epe area of Lagos State.<\/p>\n<p>The atmosphere was electrifying, providing room for the age-old tradition and culture of the area to take center stage.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6527 aligncenter\" every Easter Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>One of the main purposes of the festival is to offer prayers for both the old and young, as well as to cleanse and purify the land and its people.<\/p>\n<p>It is believed Festival is the willingness of the indigenes to undergo flogging, symbolizing the expulsion of their problems to make room for blessings.<\/p>\n<p>Our correspondent reports that some Masquerades later displayed special dancing skills to the delight of guests and tourists who graced the occasion.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking further on the Kilajolu Festival, Moshood Babatunde, an indigene and youth leader in also to appreciate God for sparing their lives and for the economic prosperity of the area.<\/p>\n<p>On behalf of the youth, Moshood Babatunde expressed gratitude to Prince Adetomiwa Odutuga for the financial support in ensuring the success of the festival.<\/p>\n<p>He also solicited the support and prayers of residents to ensure that Prince Odutuga becomes the King in Odoragbushin, in order to attract more development to the area.<\/p>\n<p>The youth leader commended Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his strides in infrastructural development and urged him to fast-track the approval of their
