The death of Herbert Wigwe, the CEO of Access Holdings, is a loss beyond description. I join the Rivers State Government, the Wigwe family, the Ogunbanjo family, and others to mourn this most regrettable and tragic incident.<\/p>\n
I first met Herbert in 2017 during the “Rivers State @ 50” celebrations. I was the Commissioner for Information in the Rivers State Government, and Herbert was the Chairman of the Fundraising Committee for the months-long event.<\/p>\n
Herbert’s boundless energy, passion, and ability to bring people together was remarkable.<\/p>\n
His dynamic personality and deep roots in the business and investment community contributed immensely to the success of the historic event.<\/p>\n
The passing of Herbert’s wife and son in the tragic incident adds to the infinite sadness that we all feel.<\/p>\n
May the souls of the departed rest in peace.<\/p>\n
