The New Direction for Nigeria Movement, NEDMO, has officially declared its total and unalloyed support for the presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Prince Adewole Adebayo ahead of the 2027 presidential election.<\/p>\n
In a strategic move to actualise this mandate, “the Movement has successfully mapped out robust, mass mobilization activities across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory,” according a press release this Tuesday by the acting national coordinator of the Movement, Muhammad Yahaya Alkali.<\/p>\n
“Following an extensive review of the nation\u2019s political landscape, NEDMO firmly states that the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Presidential ticket\u2019s Blueprint provides the most practicable, comprehensive, and realistic basis for the revitalization of the country’s development potentials.”<\/p>\n
The group maintains that “this carefully structured roadmap is the definitive antidote required to free Nigeria from the captive retrogression occasioned by successive leadership failures.”<\/p>\n
Speaking on the declaration, the Movement praised Prince Adewole Adebayo\u2019s “unimpeachable integrity, profound administrative acumen, and visionary intellect.” The group noted that Nigeria has arrived at a critical junction that demands a leader who combines deep intellectual capacity with practical governance solutions – “qualities that Adebayo has consistently demonstrated throughout his career and public life.”<\/p>\n
“In order to ensure that this message reaches every nook and cranny of the country, the New Direction for Nigeria Movement is launching a nationwide grassroots mobilization campaign. These activities will include town hall meetings, youth and women political awareness rallies, community-by-community engagements, and digital advocacy campaigns aimed at uniting Nigerians behind a common goal of sustainable progress.”<\/p>\n
