The funeral ceremonies, held in Ibadan, Oyo State, began with a wake-keep on Wednesday, September 24, followed by her lying-in-state on Thursday, September 25.<\/p>\n

The occasion attracted a large gathering of family members, friends, associates and well-wishers, with the hall filled to capacity as mourners came to celebrate the life and legacy of the deceased.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was marked by colourful traditional and formal attires, creating a lively and dignified atmosphere in honour of the octogenarian.<\/p>\n

Guests were also treated to a variety of meals and drinks, while a live band entertained the gathering with performances throughout the ceremony.<\/p>\n

Despite the grief surrounding the occasion, the event provided an opportunity for loved ones to celebrate the life of Mrs Lasisi and bid her a final farewell.<\/p>\n
