readiness to strengthen collaboration with government agencies, humanitarian organisations and well meaning Nigerians to reach more needy and less privileged members of society.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"s2\">The foundation said such collaboration would provide a platform for identifying more Nigerians affected by the prevailing economic realities and supporting them through economic class=\"s2\">The Founder and Executive Director of the foundation, Mary Fidelis Essien, disclosed this during the seventh edition of the organisation\u2019s outreach programme held on Deji Olamiju class=\"s2\">More than 50 households, comprising 30 women and 100 children, benefited from various items distributed during the outreach.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"s2\">The beneficiaries received clothes, raw food items, liquid soaps, Cadbury Bournvita drinks, baby food and medical supplies, among other essential items.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Essien stressed the need for government to urgently introduce policies that would empower Nigerians to earn sustainable livelihoods while addressing the rising cost of class=\"s2\">She also commended the companies and organisations that supported the outreach, including Drug Aid Africa, Menitos Charity Foundation, Kachman, Cadbury Bournvita Nigeria, Bless Wigs, Rybles Educonsult, J &amp; J Multipurpose Enterprises, Mycela and Mums First Choice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">She appealed to other corporate organisations and individuals to emulate the gesture by supporting initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of vulnerable Nigerians.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">According to Essien, the goal of the Heartmenders Charity Foundation is to continue providing essential support to young and vulnerable nursing mothers in low income and underserved communities through nutritious meal packs, medical supplies, free drugs and clothing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Some of the beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the intervention, describing it as timely and impactful.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">They also appealed to the government and well meaning Nigerians to support the foundation\u2019s efforts to reach more vulnerable people and alleviate their
