<\/p>\nThe University of Lagos Muslim Alumni Association (UMA), Lagos (Southern Nigeria) Chapter heartily congratulates Barr. Hassan Taiwo Fajimite on his election as the National President of the Muslim Lawyers’ Association of Nigeria (MULAN).<\/p>\n

His election is a well-deserved recognition of his outstanding professional accomplishments, exemplary leadership, unwavering commitment to justice, and dedicated service to the legal profession and the Muslim Ummah.<\/p>\n
Barr. Fajimite is well known to members of the UMA Lagos (Southern Nigeria) Chapter as one of the distinguished facilitators of the UMA Webinar Series, where he has enriched members through insightful presentations on law, citizenship, constitutional rights, and responsible civic engagement. His contributions have significantly advanced the Association’s commitment to scholarship, ethical leadership, mentorship, and intellectual engagement.<\/p>\n
Beyond his distinguished legal career, including his service as Managing Partner of Inukan Chambers (Abdulkareem, Fajimite & Co.), Barr. Fajimite has remained a respected mentor and resource person whose dedication to public enlightenment continues to inspire excellence and professionalism.<\/p>\n
Commenting on the historic achievement, the Chairman of the UMA Lagos (Southern Nigeria) Chapter, Alhaji AbdFatah ‘Lanre Bakare, described Barr. Fajimite’s emergence as National President of MULAN as a source of pride to the Association and the wider Muslim community.<\/p>\n
The Chairman noted that leadership is both an honour and a sacred trust, and therefore charged the new President to continually seek the guidance, wisdom, and assistance of Almighty Allah in the discharge of the responsibilities entrusted to him. He reminded him of Allah’s promise in the Glorious Qur’an:<\/p>\n
