The Convener of the Elofokanbale Movement, Comrade Yetunde Shodipo, has expressed the group\u2019s decision to work closely with the Director-General of the Tinubu\/Hamzat Campaign Organisation to secure a massive victory for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 elections.<\/p>\n
She also congratulated Distinguished Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, describing his appointment as a welcome development, timely, and reflective of the wishes of the people.<\/p>\n
Comrade Yetunde Shodipo made this known in a press release issued at the end of a strategic meeting of the group held in Surulere, Lagos, as part of preparations for the 2027 elections.<\/p>\n
Shodipo believes that the assignment given to Senator Obanikoro by President Bola Tinubu to deliver Lagos State in 2027 was based on his enviable political track record and loyalty to the party.<\/p>\n
According to her, the Elofokanbale Movement has mapped out strategies for a statewide campaign aimed at securing the re-election of President Tinubu and the victory of Dr. Kadri Hamzat as the governorship candidate of the APC in the 2027 elections.<\/p>\n
She maintained that the party must not be complacent but should embark on an aggressive house-to-house campaign to prevent a repeat of the 2023 electoral setback suffered by President Tinubu in Lagos State.<\/p>\n
The convener, who was also one of the aspirants for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Surulere Constituency I, urged the leadership of the party to provide Senator Obanikoro with all the necessary support required to deliver on the onerous task.<\/p>\n
