The Chief Executive Officer of the ELO-FOKAN-BALE Foundation, Comrade Yetunde Shodipo, has condemned acts of violence, kidnapping, and insecurity targeting schoolchildren, describing such incidents as disturbing and unacceptable.<\/p>\n
Shodipo, in a statement issued on behalf of the community-based development NGO, expressed solidarity with affected children, parents, teachers, and school authorities, assuring them of the foundation\u2019s support during the difficult period.<\/p>\n
She stressed that education must remain a symbol of hope, safety, and national development, rather than an environment associated with fear and trauma.<\/p>\n
According to her, the protection of children is a collective responsibility that requires urgent collaboration among government at all levels, security agencies, community leaders, parents, and civil society organizations.<\/p>\n
The ELO-FOKAN-BALE Foundation CEO emphasized the need for intensified efforts to strengthen security around schools and communities to prevent future occurrences and ensure that children can pursue their education without fear.<\/p>\n
She reaffirmed the foundation\u2019s commitment to promoting child protection, community peace, educational support, and safer learning environments for Nigerian children.<\/p>\n
