The National President of the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU), Alhaji Abdulmumini Ayo Abdulmalik, has expressed gratitude to Allah for the safe return of the Emir of Ilorin and Life Patron of the Union, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR.<\/p>\n

Welcoming the Emir back home on Friday after about two months of annual vacation in Turkey, the IEDPU President also thanked Allah for keeping the Emirate peaceful during his absence.<\/p>\n

In a statement, Alhaji Abdulmalik described the Emir\u2019s return as a welcome development, noting that the people are delighted and hopeful that the monarch is rejuvenated for continued service to the peace and progress of the Emirate, Kwara State, and the nation at large.<\/p>\n

He further described the Emir as a special blessing, adding that his reign represents a watershed moment in the history of the community and Kwara State as a whole.<\/p>\n

Abdulmalik, a community leader and retired Assistant Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, assured the monarch of the Union\u2019s continued support in his efforts to leave the Emirate better than he met it.<\/p>\n
