The Committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR) is pleased to announce that the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has formally approved the appointment of a new Board of Trustees (BoT) and Chairman for the organization. This approval marks a significant milestone in strengthening the institutional framework and governance of the CDHR.<\/p>\n
Following due process and compliance with all regulatory requirements, the CAC has also issued a new certificate reflecting the updated leadership structure of the organization.<\/p>\n
The newly approved Board of Trustees is composed of distinguished professionals and longstanding advocates for human rights, namely:<\/p>\n
* Barr. Olasupo Ojo \u2013 Chairman
\n* Femi Falana, SAN
\n* Prof. Lucky Akurese
\n* Gbenga Awosode, Esq.
\n* Debo Adeniran \u2013 Secretary<\/p>\n
The CDHR expresses confidence in the capacity, integrity, and commitment of the newly constituted Board to advance the organization\u2019s mission of promoting, protecting, and defending human rights in Nigeria.<\/p>\n
This development reinforces CDHR\u2019s dedication to transparency, accountability, and adherence to statutory regulations as it continues its work in advocating for justice, rule of law, and democratic governance.<\/p>\n
