I tell girls all the time: you have to be confident, focused, and hardworking to get ahead,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Senator Tinubu commended the late founder of the Leadership Group, Mr. Sam Nda-Isaiah, describing him as a man of integrity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI also thank all members of management who have held the organisation together since you assumed leadership. Thank you all,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>In her remarks, Mrs. Zainab Nda-Isaiah disclosed that the selection of the First Lady as Person of the Year 2025 was a unanimous decision of the Board and Management, based on the documented impact of her interventions across the country through the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) since the inception of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu\u2019s administration in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Also speaking, the Senior Vice Chairman of the Group, Mr. Azu Ishiekwene, said the First Lady has redefined the Office of the First Lady, transforming it into a force for leadership driven by passion and compassion, impacting lives across the country without tribal, religious, or political bias.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that the award is one the organisation takes seriously, as it is reserved for excellence, hard work, and dedication.<\/p>\n<p>The award ceremony, scheduled for February 12, 2026, marks the 18th edition of the event.
