He highlighted key achievements recorded so far, including strengthened security collaboration, expanded access to education through the provision of free GCE forms to 500 indigent students, and the commencement of major road and drainage projects across the council area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">The chairman also noted improvements in staff welfare and healthcare delivery, citing free medical outreaches, the provision of a new ambulance, and sustained support for primary healthcare centres. He added that peace and social harmony have been maintained, alongside direct economic support to residents through the Renewed Hope Monthly Cash Grant scheme, under which 300 residents received N100,000 each in the first month.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">According to Mayor Isola, the inauguration of the Special Task Force on Clean-Up Agbado Oke-Odo underscores the council\u2019s commitment to a cleaner, healthier and safer environment. He announced strict enforcement measures, declaring it illegal for residents to dump refuse in unapproved locations, including drainages, road medians and other public spaces.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cWith the inauguration of this task force, anyone caught dumping refuse unlawfully will be prosecuted at the customary court and fined N250,000,\u201d he warned, stressing that the council will not allow filth and preventable diseases to threaten public health.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">To ensure widespread awareness, the chairman disclosed that the council has commenced radio jingles in Yoruba and Pidgin English across radio stations to educate residents on the clean-up campaign and the new sanitation regulations. He appealed to residents to support the initiative by keeping their surroundings clean and complying with waste disposal guidelines to prevent the outbreak of communicable diseases.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Reaffirming his administration\u2019s commitment to inclusive governance, Mayor Isola said the presentation of 15 utility vehicles to collaborating institutions was designed to strengthen service delivery and community engagement. He listed the beneficiaries to include the Nigeria Police Area P Command, Alagbado; Alagbado, Oke Odo and Meiran Divisional Police Headquarters; the Agbado Oke-Odo Chieftaincy Committee; the Community Development Committee (CDC); the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Agbado Oke-Odo chapter; the League of Imams, Agbado Oke-Odo chapter; the Association of Market Men and Women; the Agbado Oke-Odo Clean-Up Enforcement Team; the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Agbado Oke-Odo chapter; two revenue buses; the Office of the Executive Chairman; and an ambulance for the health sector.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">The chairman urged all beneficiary institutions to deploy the vehicles strictly for official duties and to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the LCDA.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">He assured residents that development under his leadership would remain inclusive, stressing that no community or group would be left behind. \u201cAgbado Oke-Odo is moving forward with purpose, responsibility and focus,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Mayor Isola expressed appreciation to the Vice Chairman, Hon. Shobayo Kehinde; the Leader of the Legislative Arm, Hon.
