<\/p>\nThe Presidential Campaign Council of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has organised an interfaith prayer session for continued economic prosperity and peaceful coexistence in the country.<\/p>\n
The prayer session, held in Lagos, was led by the Overseer of the Cherubim & Seraphim Church of All Nations, Gilgal Iju-Ogundimu, Ifako-Ijaye, Prophet Sobukola Olubode, and the National Chief Imam of Ahmadiyyah Nurul Islam, Nigeria, Imam Abdulkabeer Komolafe.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the event, Prophet Olubode described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a legend and a God-chosen leader at this critical moment in the nation\u2019s history. He prayed that no force working against the President and the Coordinator of the Presidential Campaign Council, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, would prevail.<\/p>\n
He further prayed that God would guide President Tinubu on his second-term journey, urging both the President and Hon. Faleke to remain steadfast in faith and trust strongly in God.<\/p>\n

In his remarks, Imam Abdulkabeer Komolafe encouraged Nigerians to always show gratitude to God, noting that thanksgiving attracts more blessings. He also stressed the importance of forgiveness towards those who have offended them.<\/p>\n
The cleric reminded the gathering of the need to care for their parents, noting that many individuals occupying high offices today are beneficiaries of their parents\u2019 goodwill and prayers.<\/p>\n

According to Imam Komolafe, public office holders must remain committed to their responsibilities and persevere despite challenges. He also enjoined them to uphold humility at all times, regardless of their positions, and to treat fellow human beings with sincerity and the fear of God.<\/p>\n
Earlier, the Secretary of the Presidential Campaign Council, Hon. Abiodun Mafe, explained that the prayer session was organised to seek God\u2019s guidance and protection for President Tinubu and Hon. James Abiodun Faleke.<\/p>\n

He noted that the council believes the nation requires fervent prayers to ensure political stability and national progress.<\/p>\n
Dignitaries present at the prayer session included former Deputy Governors of Lagos State, Princess Sarah Sosan and Prince Abiodun Ogunleye; former Senators Musiliu Obanikoro and Tokunbo Afikuyomi; former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Jokotola Pelumi; former Lagos APC Chairman, Chief Henry Ajomale; Baba Adinni of Lagos, Alhaji Sikiru Alabi-Macfoy; former Lagos Commissioner for Home Affairs, Alhaji Oyinlomo Danmole; members of the House of Representatives, Hon. Adeyemi Alli and Hon. Lanre Osun; APC leader in Alimosho, Alhaji Abdullahi Enilolobo; Hon. Tajudeen Agoro, several council chairmen, and other party leaders.<\/p>\n
