Olusanya made this known during the Grand Finale of the 2025 Lagos Agrithon, held at Workforce, The Zone, Gbagada, where she interacted with journalists and young agripreneurs.<\/p>\n

She noted that initiatives such as the Agrinnovation Club\u2014formed in 2023\u2014are already grooming young agricultural entrepreneurs who are transforming the state\u2019s food systems and contributing to its economic growth.<\/p>\n

According to her, over 1,000 business cases were submitted for this year\u2019s Agrithon, with 36 finalists selected to receive funding from the \u20a6150 million Agrithon Fund and additional private-sector support.<\/p>\n

Olusanya emphasized that the programme, a legacy of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu\u2019s administration, continues to inspire innovation, mentorship, and investment in the agricultural space, positioning Lagos as the nation\u2019s hub for agribusiness excellence.<\/p>\n
