The National Economic Council (NEC) Committee on the Overhaul of Security Training Institutions in Nigeria has commenced its on-the-spot assessment visit to training institutions in Lagos State, as part of its nationwide tour of facilities in the southern region.<\/p>\n

The Presidential Committee was led by the Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, who also serves as the ad hoc committee chairman, alongside his Ogun State counterpart, Prince Dapo Abiodun.<\/p>\n

Other members of the team included the former Inspector-General of Police, Alhaji Usman Baba Alkali, and the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of the Special Protection Unit, Tunji Disu.<\/p>\n

They were received by the Commandant of the Police College, AIG Omolola Oloruntola, and the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh.<\/p>\n
