It was a moment of pride and celebration as brilliant students from Eti-Osa Local Government dazzled at the recently held Spelling Bee competition hosted at the council secretariat.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event, which brought together pupils and students from 20 schools \u2014 including nine public primary schools and eleven senior secondary schools \u2014 showcased exceptional talent, confidence, and intellectual brilliance.<\/span><\/p>\n

After a fiercely contested round of spellings, <\/span>Sanni Amira<\/span> of <\/span>Jamatul Islamiyah Primary School<\/span>emerged winner in the primary category, while <\/span>Igbinedion Dara<\/span> of <\/span>Agbara Community Senior Secondary School<\/span> clinched the top spot in the senior category.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other winners in the primary section include <\/span>Cicilia Moses<\/span> of <\/span>Ilasan Primary School<\/span> (2nd place) and <\/span>Ummi Jordan<\/span> of <\/span>Ikota Primary School<\/span> (3rd place). In the senior category, <\/span>Olabode Mercy Eyinjuoluwa<\/span>of <\/span>Ilasan Senior Secondary School<\/span> came second, while <\/span>Bassey Favour Essien<\/span> of <\/span>Agbara Community Senior Secondary School<\/span> took third place.<\/span><\/p>\n

Executive Chairman of Eti-Osa Local Government, <\/span>Omo\u2019ba Adeola Alimot Adetoro<\/span>, congratulated all participants, noting that the competition was aimed at nurturing academic excellence and building confidence among young learners. She also presented prizes to winners of a pre-contest spelling exercise.<\/span><\/p>\n

Adetoro urged the overall winners to represent Eti-Osa Local Government with pride at the state level and bring home more laurels.<\/span><\/p>\n
