She, however, noted challenges in service delivery, particularly the slow response to tourists\u2019 meal requests during previous Detty December events.<\/p>\n<p>Mustapha stressed the need to improve facilities at Takwa Bay, including the deployment of modern commercial boats and ferries to move fun-seekers in large numbers, thereby sustaining the beach\u2019s activities.<\/p>\n<p>Vice President of NATOP (South West Zone), Mr. James Anago-Osho, was equally optimistic, citing Ogun State\u2019s renovation of Olumo Rock as an example of how investment and accessibility can boost tourist patronage.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-17196 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/thenewsnow.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/f364597f-0998-4599-a236-da8aae18a9a5-300x134.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"134\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thenewsnow.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/f364597f-0998-4599-a236-da8aae18a9a5-300x134.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/thenewsnow.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/f364597f-0998-4599-a236-da8aae18a9a5-1024x457.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/thenewsnow.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/f364597f-0998-4599-a236-da8aae18a9a5-768x343.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/thenewsnow.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/f364597f-0998-4599-a236-da8aae18a9a5-640x286.jpeg 640w, https:\/\/thenewsnow.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/f364597f-0998-4599-a236-da8aae18a9a5.jpeg 1040w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Similarly, Mr. Tolulope Bradley, who oversees Takwa Bay Beach operations, explained that the facility is under the Nigerian Ports Authority with the Nigerian Navy as custodian. He highlighted accessibility challenges since the beach can only be reached by water, making transportation costly and inconvenient for many visitors.<\/p>\n<p>Bradley, however, noted that Takwa Bay\u2019s unique beachfront, with its line of tents and cabanas, gives it an edge over others.
