The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has prayed for a world filled with peace, reaffirming her stand against the provocations of war.<\/p>\n

She made this known when she received in audience the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Nigeria, Ali bin Ghanem Al-Hajri, in her office.<\/p>\n

Reacting to the recent attack in Doha, the capital of Qatar, the First Lady called for greater understanding among nations of the world, noting that peace\u2014championed by all major religions\u2014remains close to the heart of God.<\/p>\n

The Ambassador\u2019s visit, which was held mainly behind closed doors, explored opportunities to strengthen partnerships between the Renewed Hope Initiative and the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development in Doha, particularly in promoting reforms to the Almajiri education system and addressing the challenge of out-of-school children.<\/p>\n

In his remarks, Ambassador Ali bin Ghanem Al-Hajri expressed gratitude to the First Lady and the people of Nigeria for their support and their consistent call for global peace during this challenging time. He emphasized that Nigeria remains dear to the State of Qatar.<\/p>\n
