The launch took place at the Shehu Musa Yar\u2019Adua Center, Abuja, in an event that brought together religious leaders, dignitaries, and members from across the country.<\/p>\n<p>In his address, NASFAT President, Alhaji Ayodeji Abdulwahid Abdulrauf, FCS, described the publication as \u201ca monumental legacy\u201d and \u201ca living testimony\u201d to the vision, sacrifice, and resilience of the society\u2019s founders.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis book tells our story with candour and clarity \u2014 how young Muslim professionals came together to create a movement that redefined Islamic propagation in Nigeria and beyond,\u201d Abdulrauf said, noting that NASFAT now operates in over 360 locations worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>The society, which began as a humble prayer group in Lagos, has since evolved into a global faith-based organization with programs in social welfare, education, healthcare, youth development, women empowerment, and humanitarian aid.<\/p>\n<p>The NASFAT president expressed deep appreciation to the founding fathers, past leaders, members, donors, and volunteers who have contributed to the society\u2019s growth. Special recognition was given to the book consultant, Prof. Siyan Oyefeso; the History Book Committee led by Hajia Afusat Bello; and the Book Launching Committee chaired by Alhaji Ibrahim Bolaji Bello.<\/p>\n<p>The foreword to the book was written by His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto and President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, while the review was conducted by Prof. Mahfouz A. Adedimeji.<\/p>\n<p>Abdulrauf urged members, guests, and well-wishers to support the book financially, noting that proceeds will go towards NASFAT\u2019s social impact initiatives, including Fountain University, Osogbo, and the NIC Mosque Project along the Lagos\u2013Ibadan Expressway. The mosque is expected to be commissioned soon by the Sultan of Sokoto.<\/p>\n<p>Calling on other faith-based organizations to play a greater role in social service delivery, he emphasized the importance of collaboration with government while respecting diverse beliefs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet this history inspire us to serve more, give more, and preserve the ideals of our founding fathers.
