This one-term gimmick is just a strategy to lower expectations and preempt his own failure,\u201d the statement noted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObi\u2019s Record as Governor: Overhyped, Underwhelming\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Taking aim at Obi\u2019s record as governor of Anambra State, the APC said his widely publicized achievements were largely \u201cexaggerated PR stunts\u201d with little transformational impact. \u201cEven basic infrastructure and industrial development were neglected during his tenure,\u201d it said. \u201cIf that was his best, why should Nigerians trust him with the presidency \u2014 even for a day?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTinubu Offers Real Leadership, Not Excuses\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Contrasting Peter Obi\u2019s \u201cpolitics of posturing\u201d with the governance style of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC praised the president for his bold reforms, economic revival agenda, and security restructuring initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPresident Tinubu is not making promises he cannot keep \u2014 he\u2019s making the hard decisions that many before him avoided. That is what true leadership looks like,\u201d the statement declared.<\/p>\n<p>According to the, Obi\u2019s one-term promise was not a show of integrity but a \u201csmokescreen for lack of substance.\u201d It urged Nigerians to reject what it called \u201cempty campaign gimmicks\u201d and stay focused on real governance under the APC.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNigerians are wiser than they were in 2023.
