commitment to achieving the United Nations\u2019 <\/span><span class=\"s1\">Zero Hunger<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> target by 2030.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">The organisation emphasized the urgency of reducing hunger to the barest minimum\u2014if not completely eradicating it\u2014within the next five years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">This charge was delivered by the Team Lead of FoodClique Support Initiative, <\/span><span class=\"s1\">Mr. Ibrahim Onilegbale<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, during the <\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u201cCelebrating Impact Hunger Heroes: Honoring Our Collective Journey\u201d<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> event held at Marriott Hotel, GRA Ikeja, Lagos<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\"><img class=\"s2\">Mr. Onilegbale, who noted that FoodClique was founded 13 years ago, said the organisation believes in the power of team spirit and collaboration to end hunger in the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">He described the volunteers, partners, and sponsors as the <\/span><span class=\"s1\">engine room<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> of the group, applauding their passion and dedication during interventions, especially in nurturing a new generation of compassionate and committed Nigerians through school programs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">According to him, these partners, sponsors, and donors have amplified the organisation\u2019s voice and strengthened its reach, serving as the backbone of class=\"s2\">Reflecting on the group\u2019s impact, Onilegbale highlighted their proactive interventions during the COVID-19 pandemic and the provision of school meals across <\/span><span class=\"s1\">10 Local Government Areas in Lagos<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, alongside cooked food distributions in communities nationwide.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">He stressed that tackling hunger requires <\/span><span class=\"s1\">collective effort<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, noting that lasting solutions will only emerge when <\/span><span class=\"s1\">everyone unites with a shared vision<\/span><span class=\"s2\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Also speaking at the event, the <\/span><span class=\"s1\">Chief Executive Officer of Noella Foundation<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, <\/span><span class=\"s1\">Mrs. Layal Tinubu<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, emphasized the foundation\u2019s commitment to giving back and supporting societal growth. Represented by <\/span><span class=\"s1\">Justice Omenogor<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, she stated that <\/span><span class=\"s1\">hunger and unemployment<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> remain two of the most critical issues in Nigeria today.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">She added that Noella Foundation is focused on <\/span><span class=\"s1\">creating employment<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> and combating poverty, which are central to making a lasting impact.
