Encourage them. They will show passion for only one thing \u2014 support them along that line and watch how they will excel.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s3\">She emphasized that autism and mental health challenges in children should never be viewed as barriers to development. Kanye\u2019s record-setting artwork, titled <\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u201cImpossibility is a Myth\u201d<\/span><span class=\"s3\">, which earned him the Guinness World Record for the largest painting on canvas by an individual, is a testament to this belief.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s3\">Senator Tinubu noted that artists like Kanyechukwu are rare gems, and that many children with special needs are highly gifted and capable of achieving greatness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s3\">\u201cDuring the World Autism Awareness Day, I usually issue a statement, which we did again this year. But I\u2019m glad we are now able to recognise him in person. Tomorrow is Children\u2019s Day \u2014 there couldn\u2019t be a better time to celebrate him.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s3\">\u201cAutism, and mental health in general, affects very brilliant children. You just have to pay attention to them. On April 2, 2025 (World Autism Awareness Day), the <\/span><span class=\"s1\">Guinness World Records<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> officially verified the achievement, recognising Kanye\u2019s artistry, resilience, and his role in promoting autism awareness, inclusion, and neurodiversity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s3\">The shy but visibly delighted artist presented one of his artworks to Senator Tinubu during the event.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s3\">Through her <\/span><span class=\"s1\">Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI)<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> under the <\/span><span class=\"s1\">Social Investment Programme<\/span><span class=\"s3\">, the First Lady also gifted Kanyechukwu Tagbo-Okeke a sum of <\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u20a625 million<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> to support his education and further development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s3\">Earlier, the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, <\/span><span class=\"s1\">Dr. Mukhtar Muhammad<\/span><span class=\"s3\">, commended Kanye for making Nigeria proud both at home and internationally with his extraordinary artworks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s3\">He described the young artist as an exceptional child and noted that the Ministry is proud to showcase him as a role model to raise awareness about autism in Nigeria. He also highlighted the immense potential of young people with autism when given the right guidance and opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s3\">Kanye\u2019s mother, <\/span><span class=\"s1\">Mrs. Silvia Okeke<\/span><span class=\"s3\">, expressed her deep appreciation to the First Lady for her kindness and ongoing support for children with special needs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s3\">\u201cFor parents, I\u2019ll say \u2014 don\u2019t give up. Every day, there are challenges, but always, always remain hopeful that the child will improve.
