The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has announced the commencement of a planned maintenance shutdown at the Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC), which began on May 24, 2025.<\/p>\n
According to a statement issued by the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd, Olufemi O. Soneye, the maintenance is part of a broader sustainability assessment aimed at enhancing the refinery\u2019s efficiency and long-term performance.<\/p>\n
NNPC Ltd noted that it is collaborating with key stakeholders, including the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), to ensure that the maintenance activities are executed smoothly, transparently, and in line with industry standards.<\/p>\n
