The Executive Chairman of Itire-Ikate Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. (Dr.) Ahmed Olanrewaju Apatira, recently hosted an end-of-year bazaar for staffers and residents, demonstrating his commitment to staff welfare and community development.<\/p>\n

The event, which took place at the LCDA headquarters, was a triple celebration featuring an end-of-year get-together with workers, a celebration of retirees, and the commissioning of the newly built Igbeyilola market with a commercial bus car park.<\/p>\n

Highlights of the event included:<\/p>\n

– Distribution of \u20a620,000 cash gifts to indigent residents as part of the “Owo Odun Initiative”
\n– Presentation of cash gifts and certificates to retirees and deserving staff members
\n– Presentation of utility vehicles to various groups, including:
\n– Community Development Committee (CDC)
\n– Market Association
\n– Pay Office
\n– Council Manager
\n– Other deserving groups<\/p>\n

The Council Manager, Mrs. Yetunde Ajose, expressed her appreciation for the Chairman’s welfare packages, including monthly palliatives, financial assistance, and training.<\/p>\n

\nThe event also featured award presentations, including Best Staff awards and a Meritorious award to the Executive Chairman for his commitment to staff welfare.<\/p>\n
