RAH Emerges Strong Contender for Amuwo-Odofin Reps Seat, Youth Council Scribes Endorsement

The immediate past Chairman of Oriade Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ramotalai Olanrewaju Akinlola-Hassan (popularly known as RAH), has been described as a leading and formidable contender to reclaim the Amuwo-Odofin Federal Constituency seat for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

This position was contained in a statement issued by Comrade Adeshiyan Titilayo, Secretary of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Amuwo-Odofin Local Government chapter, titled “RAH: The Strongest of Them All.”

According to the statement, Akinlola-Hassan’s tenure as Chairman of Oriade LCDA was marked by impactful infrastructure development and a governance style centered on the welfare of the people.

The NYCN scribe noted that the former council boss demonstrated exceptional commitment to grassroots development, emphasizing that her leadership positively impacted not only Oriade LCDA but the entire Amuwo-Odofin Federal Constituency.

“She has consistently shown genuine love for the people and remains unmatched in her dedication to youth empowerment,” the statement read.

The endorsement further highlighted her wealth of legislative and administrative experience, having previously served as a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, which, according to the youth body, places her in a strong position to effectively represent the constituency.

It also referenced her recent initiative of distributing free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms to students across Amuwo-Odofin Federal Constituency and the 10 Local Government Areas and LCDAs in Badagry Division, describing the gesture as a reflection of her continued investment in education and youth development.

The NYCN, Amuwo-Odofin chapter, therefore called on party members and residents to rally support for Akinlola-Hassan, expressing confidence in her capacity to deliver effective representation and further strengthen the constituency if elected.

He called for unity among stakeholders to ensure the emergence of what it described as “a strong candidate for a stronger Amuwo-Odofin.”
