COKER/AGUDA INDEFINITELY RESTRICTS TRICYCLE OPERATION ACROSS THE LCDA

Coker Aguda Local Council Development Area has announced the total indefinite restriction of operations of tricycle operations within the Local Council Area with immediate effect.

It has been observed that recent killings were carried out using tricycles which raised serious security concerns. Residents will recall that the operation of commercial motorcycles (okada) had earlier been banned by the Lagos State Government as part of broader security measures across the state. Hence it remains banned.

This decisive action forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security and maintain public order within the Local Government.

The security agencies are hereby directed by the Executive Chairman to restore law and order around Orile Community and Coker Aguda in general.
