Lagos APC to Nigerians: The Storm Will Break – The Saboteurs Will Fail
The Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) calls on Nigerians to remain calm, resolute, and united as the nation confronts temporary challenges being deliberately amplified by a desperate, unpatriotic, and increasingly exposed opposition. Even in the midst of tension and turmoil, one truth remains eternal:
This too shall pass.
Nigeria has walked through fire before – recessions, insurgencies, sabotage, political treachery – and each time, we emerged stronger. Today will not be different.
Acknowledging Recent Developments: Tinubu Is Taking Decisive Action
Unlike the empty talkers masquerading as statesmen, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is taking concrete, historic steps to secure Nigeria and restore national stability.
• He has declared a State of Emergency on Security – a bold, unprecedented move that signals zero tolerance for terror, sabotage, and criminality.
• He has approved the recruitment of an additional 20,000 new police officers, bringing the total fresh intake under his administration to an extraordinary 50,000 personnel – the single largest security expansion in recent history.
These are not cosmetic gestures.
These are strategic, far-reaching actions by a President who refuses to surrender one inch of Nigerian territory to terrorists or their political sponsors.
While the opposition sells fear, President Tinubu delivers capacity.
While they whine abroad, he strengthens Nigeria at home.
Security: The Truth the Opposition Is Afraid Of
The opposition continues to prophesy doom because they are mortally threatened by the breakthroughs being recorded:
• Rescue missions are ongoing.
• Hostile networks are being dismantled.
• Saboteurs are being unmasked.
• Communities are cooperating with security forces like never before.
Even the recent incidents the opposition danced around as “evidence of failure” have, in fact, revealed the true faces of those sponsoring chaos.
How do terrorists suddenly strike with precision minutes after certain politicians issue “prophecies” of unrest?
Who feeds bandits with insider intelligence?
Who benefits if Nigeria looks ungovernable?
We know. Nigerians know. And their time is almost up.
Those praying for Nigeria’s destabilization to justify foreign intervention will meet disappointment and disgrace.
The Opposition’s New Tactic: Cry Wolf, Invite Outsiders
Having lost moral currency at home, the opposition now shops for sympathy abroad. They write petitions, sponsor reports, and lobby international bodies with stories of an impending collapse – all in the hope that foreign powers will intervene on their behalf.
But Nigeria is not a playground for expired politicians.
And President Tinubu is not an absentee leader.
He is hands-on, fully engaged, and personally directing the security renaissance sweeping across the nation. Under his watch, Nigeria’s sovereignty is not up for negotiation.
Not to foreign interests.
Not to political merchants.
Not to those seeking shortcuts to power.
Economic Hardship: The Pain of Birth, Not the Pain of Death
The temporary discomfort Nigerians are experiencing today is the unavoidable price of dismantling decades-old economic sabotage:
• Subsidy cartels have been dethroned.
• FOREX cabals have been disrupted.
• Rent-seeking billionaires have been cut off from government pipelines.
Their foot soldiers in the opposition amplify the hardship because it is the only political oxygen they have left.
But Nigerians must not be deceived:
The reforms are already working.
Agriculture is expanding.
Revenue is rising.
Investment confidence is returning.
Industries are waking up.
Those who destroyed the house have no right to mock the rebuilding.
Nigeria Will Prevail – The Saboteurs Will Fail
The Lagos APC assures Nigerians that the storm is temporary, the discomfort is transitional, and the nation’s destiny is firmly in the hands of a capable, courageous, and battle-ready President.
This too shall pass.
The saboteurs will fail.
Nigeria will rise stronger than ever.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has shown resolve where others fled, courage where others buckled, and leadership where others sought shortcuts. Nigeria is blessed to have a Commander-in-Chief who leads from the front.
We stand with him.
We stand with Nigeria.
We stand with the unshakable conviction that internal and external forces of darkness will never triumph over the will of the Nigerian people.
