Photo News: Mbah, Abiodun Lead NEC Committee on On-the-Spot Assessment of Security Training Facilities in Lagos
The National Economic Council (NEC) Committee on the Overhaul of Security Training Institutions in Nigeria has commenced its on-the-spot assessment visit to training institutions in Lagos State, as part of its nationwide tour of facilities in the southern region.

The Presidential Committee was led by the Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, who also serves as the ad hoc committee chairman, alongside his Ogun State counterpart, Prince Dapo Abiodun.

Other members of the team included the former Inspector-General of Police, Alhaji Usman Baba Alkali, and the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of the Special Protection Unit, Tunji Disu.

They were received by the Commandant of the Police College, AIG Omolola Oloruntola, and the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh.

During the visit, the Commandant, AIG Omolola Oloruntola, used the occasion to highlight the various infrastructural challenges facing the institution.
