Today, we celebrate International Youth Day 2025, shining a spotlight on the incredible contributions of young people worldwide. The theme “Local Youth Actions for the SDGs and Beyond” highlights the vital role youth play in driving progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals which is one of the cardinal objectives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his Renewed hope agenda.

Young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow; they are the changemakers of today. From promoting sustainability and climate action to advocating for social justice and equality, youth are driving change in their communities.

We however seize opportunity of this auspicious occasion to thank the President for prioritising the Youth in his renewed hope agenda in the areas of Education as exemplified in the student loan for tertiary institutions, Sports development which led to the back to back victory of our Super Falcons football and National Basket ball team in the last African competition.

We also commend Mr President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the current reforms towards improving and repositioning the Country.

We however as oliver twist seek the support of Mr President in getting more young people in cabinet positions and MDA’s.
