Faces at the 2nd Phase Empowerment Programme by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, for the people of Akwa Ibom North-West Senatorial District.

The Senate President was accompanied to his home state by some of his colleagues.

During the programme, schools were commissioned, and over 3,000 residents benefited from various empowerment items, including:

•30 minibuses

•67 passenger tricycles

•50 cassava processing machines

•347 deep freezers

•247 generating sets

•Truckloads of 50kg bags of rice

•Cash grants
