Celebration of Nigerian Children’s Rights, Potential, Dreams: POCACOV to Host Children’s Day Program

The Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV), an initiative of the Inspector General of Police, has concluded plans to host a special event in celebration of the rights, potential, and dreams of Nigerian children.
The event, themed “For Every Child, Every Right,” is organized in commemoration of the 2025 Children’s Day.
The celebration is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the Police College, Oba Akinjobi Way, Ikeja, Lagos, starting at 10:00 a.m.
The program promises a fun-filled and impactful day featuring speeches, quizzes, debates, games, and a variety of other exciting activities designed to educate and entertain children while promoting the values of peace, unity, and self-worth.
The event is open to specially invited schools with no gate fee and is carefully curated to foster a sense of belonging while raising awareness about the rights of every Nigerian child.
POCACOV, under the leadership of the Inspector General of Police and its Lagos State Chapter, continues to champion youth engagement, crime prevention, and nation-building through constructive programs such as this.
