Rev. Mike Eniola of Hour of Destiny Movement Charges Christians to Be Consistent in Prayer as Lagos Crusade Enters Day 3
Christians have been urged to remain consistent in their prayers and supplications to God, while shunning sinful acts, so their requests may reach the Most High and be answered.
Rev. Mike Gbenga Eniola, General Overseer of the Brethren of Hour of Destiny Movement, gave this charge at the opening of the ongoing four-day power-packed crusade, holding at the Chapel of Christ The Light, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
The Kogi-based clergy, who arrived in Lagos with his wife, Mrs. Becky Eniola, expressed joy at visiting the state to minister to the people, assuring them that their lives would experience a positive transformation by the end of the spiritual gathering.
He explained that the theme of the programme, “I Am Moving Forward,” was carefully chosen to inspire the people of Lagos and its environs to progress spiritually and in all areas of life.
Rev. Eniola referenced the biblical story of Moses, who led the Israelites out of Egypt under Pharaoh’s oppression and was confronted with the Red Sea. He emphasized that Moses remained steadfast in his faith in God, ultimately leading the people forward through divine intervention.
According to him, Moses eventually led the Israelites safely through the Red Sea into the Promised Land.
He reminded the congregation that in today’s world, progress may require effort, courage, and spiritual force. He encouraged them to be trustworthy Christians who stand out from the crowd and live lives pleasing to God.
Sharing a testimony about the growth of the Brethren of Hour of Destiny Movement across Nigeria, Rev. Eniola revealed that coordinators from each state had willingly offered themselves for service, driven by divine calling.
He humbly stated that all credit for the testimonies shared by congregants during the programme belongs solely to God and not to him.
The clergyman expressed gratitude to the people of Lagos State for the warm reception and hospitality extended to him and his family since their arrival.
In his opening remarks, the Lagos State Coordinator of the movement, Mr. Adekunle Fatokun, expressed delight at the impressive turnout and expressed optimism that many attendees would leave the crusade blessed in the name of the Lord.
He noted that the Brethren of Hour of Destiny Movement has continued to grow nationwide due to Rev. Mike Eniola’s leadership, characterized by transparency and the fear of God.
Several participants at the crusade also shared powerful testimonies of God’s blessings and divine upliftment in their lives.
The four-day programme, organized by the Lagos State Chapter of the Brethren of Hour of Destiny Movement and themed “I Am Moving Forward,” is ongoing at the Chapel of Christ The Light, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
