GREEN CARPET FOUNDATION (G.C.F) CELEBRATES 10TH YEAR OF EXISTENCE

…Provided free health talk,free reading and sight glasses, free eye test and general health evaluation (screening)

What started on the platform of an N.G.O has turned out to be a major factor towards the advancement and improvement of lives of the Community residents.The N.G O which has metamorphosed into Community-based-health provider amongst others has visibly been visible since the commencement of it’s operations in a decade ago.

G.C.F has over the years,contributed to the better living of numerous residents within and outside it’s operational base. The Organization through it’s Cooperate Social Responsibility(C.S.R) unit has instituted and executed numerous programs which had in turn,reflected positively in lives of the beneficiaries.

In Celebrating it’s 10th year anniversary, G.C.F organized free-for-fees eye medical evaluation to ascertain the visual states of the residents within the Community with the aim of providing free eye reading and visual glasses to those who might be needing them.

Welcoming the guests, the Founder and C.E.O, Hon.Adewunmi John Ogunshina attributed the success achieved thus far to God Almighty for His faithfulness and mercy. He remarked that,over a decade,the G.C.F has dutifully demonstrated her vision and mission with the help of God. Hon. Adewunmi Ogunshina noted that, the 10th year anniversary of the N G.O is a testament of honesty, commitments and dedications of positive hard work of the combined team of professional who displayed high level of professionalism at all times.

Hon. Adewunmi Ogunshina who is the immediate past Counselor of Ward K in Amuwo Odofin LGA has been outstandingly outstanding in the Communication development engagements through out his tenure which continued after leaving the politically elected office. The Chairmanship Aspirant under the platform of A.P.C in the last L.G.A elections in Lagos State charged the other Government officials to toe same path and affect the lives around them.

Delivering a free health talk, the immediate past Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin LGA and the present State Organizing Secretary of APC, Comrade Ayodele Adewale who reminded the audience of the importance of healthy living.

A beneficiary who pleased, anonymous was full of praises to the Organizers of the event. She prayed for the success of the subsequent editions.

Other Community Leaders present at the event were Barr.Mohammed Adegenro, the President of FTRA,Dr Amb.,Agnes Gowon,Pst.Ebekue Callistus,Dr innocent Kokobili,Miss Patience Akpan,the project Director,Mr Soji Abifarin,Mr Abiound Oduyomi,Mr Taiwo Ajayi,Rev Father Melvis Mayaki,Rev.Father Simon Okelezo,etc.

The Leaders disclosed their resolved to working harmoniously with the foundation to deliver it’s mission to the residents.
