Breaking: DSS Detains NLC President Joe Ajaero at the Airport on his way to the UK

Joe Ajaero, President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), was detained this morning by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

Ajaero was preparing to board a flight to the United Kingdom for an official assignment when he was apprehended. The reasons for his arrest remain unclear, but sources indicate that he has been transferred to the National Intelligence Agency (NIA).
