NASFAT President urges leaders at all levels to be fair and sensitive to the citizens’ needs
The president of Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society, NASFAT, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid Abdul-Rauf has urged Nigerian leaders at all levels to be fair and sensitive to the needs of the Nigerian people in order to make life and living more comfortable and meaningful to them in their motherland.
“The nation leaders at all levels, local , state, and federal should be fair and sensitive to the citizens’ needs and manage our common wealth judiciously and stop flamboyant lifestyles that are causing harm to nation economy rather than aiding it. Enough of palliatives that are not productively impactful, and finally, there’s need for a clarion call, for urgent need to cut down the cost of governance at all levels to get the Nation back on course.”
He stated this in his Eid-ul-Adha message in a statement issued to felicitate with the Muslim faithfuls as they celebrate the festival on Sunday, June 16, 2024.
The NASFAT President however, facilitates with Muslims across the globe, advised Nigerians to emulate the ethos and values of Prophet Ibrahim whose firm faith and total obedience to his Creator is the reason that brought about the celebration.
“Eid-ul-Adha festival isn’t just about celebration or merriment only rather it is about reflecting on the lessons it has come to teach and also practising and exhibiting the lessons learnt from the story behind the celebration and emulating them for the good of humanity.”said Ayodeji.
