Our Royal Fathers,
Political and Religious Leaders,
Market Men and Women,
Fellow Youths,
Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen,

Members of the Press,

We greet you all.

Today marks a defining moment in the history of Badagry Federation. We stand here as the voice of the youth—united, conscious, and determined—to lend our full support to the position already taken by our revered Royal Fathers.

We are here to say clearly, confidently, and collectively:

Badagry Lokan.

We have learnt from history.

Since the creation of Lagos State in 1967—through both military and civilian administrations—Badagry Federation has never produced a Governor of Lagos State.

Not once.

This is not an accusation.
It is a fact.

And as stakeholders in Lagos State, we affirm that our demand is legitimate, just, and fair—void of offence to God and man.

In the spirit of equity, fairness, and unity,
Badagry deserves its rightful place.

Badagry is not on the sidelines.

We are contributors.
We are participants.
We are stakeholders.

From elections to governance support, Badagry has consistently stood with the progressive movement and the All Progressives Congress.

We have shown loyalty.
We have delivered.
We have remained committed.

YOUTHS MUST NOT BE LEFT BEHIND

We speak today as the leaders of tomorrow.

And we say clearly:

The system must not disadvantage Badagry youths.

We deserve inclusion.
We deserve opportunity.
We deserve representation.

Our community is yearning for development, infrastructure, and economic progress.

There is a narrative that Badagry lacks the capacity to lead Lagos State.

We reject that narrative.

Badagry is blessed with:

• Men and women of character and integrity

• Individuals of education and exposure

• Leaders with experience and proven capacity

Badagry is not lacking. Badagry is ready.

Badagry is critical to the future of Lagos State:

• A gateway to West Africa

• Rich in tourism potential

• Endowed with vast agricultural land and natural resources

• Positioned for regional trade and economic expansion

Badagry is not peripheral—Badagry is strategic.

This moment calls for leadership that is deeply rooted in Badagry—individuals who understand our people, our challenges, and our aspirations.

Among our sons are individuals who have demonstrated uncommon commitment to the progress of our party, our state, and our nation.

We are not speaking in general terms.
We are speaking of proven leadership.

Mr. Samuel Mawuyon Ajose (SMA), a proud son of Badagry, has demonstrated uncommon commitment through action, sacrifice, and consistent service.

He has:

• Invested personal resources in strengthening party structures across the state

• Supported electoral processes across all 57 Local Governments with logistics and coordination

• Mobilised thousands across Lagos State and the South-West in support of progressive leadership

• Promoted the Renewed Hope Agenda through sustained advocacy and grassroots engagement

These are not claims.
These are verifiable contributions.

These are not theoretical credentials.
These are real actions under real conditions.

From strengthening party infrastructure, to building massive grassroots support, to making significant personal investments in the success of progressive leadership, Samuel Ajose has demonstrated capacity, loyalty, and commitment at a level that clearly distinguishes him.

These are not symbolic gestures.
They are practical investments in governance, structure, and political stability.

They reflect experience.
They show competence.
They demonstrate leadership under real conditions.

At a time when the question is not just who should lead, but who is prepared to lead,
SMA stands out as one who has shown readiness through sacrifice, organisation, and unwavering commitment.

The office of the Governor of Lagos State should be zoned to Badagry Federation.

We reaffirm our unwavering support for:
